Selena Gomez has made a major move on social media that has fans wondering if she and Zayn Malik are over for good.

The pop star has unfollowed Zayn and several of his exes, including Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa and Zendaya, on Instagram.

What does this mean for their rumored romance?

Selena and Zayn Fling

Selena and Zayn sparked dating rumors in March 2023, when they were reportedly seen kissing in New York City.

They went out in SoHo and looked very comfortable together. “It was clear that it was a date,” the source said.

However, neither of them confirmed or denied the rumors, and they never had another public sighting or photo together.

Selena spent the last two months in Paris, where she posted several TikTok videos declaring that she is “single” and “just a little high maintenance”.

Zayn, on the other hand, remained silent on his relationship status.

Selena Gomez Social Media Cleanse

Fans noticed that Selena quietly unfollowed Zayn on Instagram on June 25, 2023.

She also unfollowed his ex-girlfriend and mother of his daughter Khai, Gigi Hadid, as well as Gigi’s sister Bella Hadid, who also dated Zayn briefly in 2016.

In addition, Selena unfollowed Dua Lipa, who was linked to Zayn in 2017, and Zendaya, who co-starred with him in the movie “The Greatest Showman”.

Celebrity news fan account PopFaction pointed out Selena’s unfollow spree on Instagram, showing screenshots of her follower list before and after.

Zayn still follows Selena on Instagram, as do Gigi, Bella, Dua and Zendaya.

Why did Selena Gomez unfollow Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid & Dua Lipa on Instagram?

Selena’s unfollowing spree could indicate that she and Zayn have broken up or had a falling out.

It could also mean that she is distancing herself from his past relationships and drama.

Or it could simply mean that she is doing some social media detox and focusing on herself.

Whatever the reason, Selena’s fans are curious to know what is going on between her and Zayn.

Some are hoping that they will get back together, while others are happy that she is single and living her best life.

Others are also wondering how Zayn’s exes feel about Selena’s move.

How Do Zayn’s Exes Feel About Selena?

Gigi Hadid has no problem with Zayn dating anyone else, as long as he is happy and a good co-parent to their daughter Khai.

Gigi herself is reportedly seeing Leonardo DiCaprio in a casual “situationship”, according to another source who spoke to People in May 2023.

The source said that they are having fun together but not looking for anything serious.

As for Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa and Zendaya, none of them have commented on Selena’s unfollowing spree or their relationship with Zayn.

They seem to be busy with their own careers and personal lives.

Conclusion

Selena Gomez has unfollowed Zayn Malik and several of his exes on Instagram, sparking speculation about their rumored romance.

While the reason behind her move is unclear, it could mean that she and Zayn are over or have had some issues.

It could also mean that she is doing some social media cleansing and focusing on herself. Either way, fans are eager to know more about her love life and what the future holds for her and Zayn.
