Timothy Mowry is the retired US Army Sergeant and the ex-husband of producer Darlene Mowry. Darlene is known for producing the film, Seventeen Again. He divorced Darlene in 2015.

Timothy shares four kids with Darlene who are Tia Mowry, Tamera Mowry, Tahj Mowry, and Tavior Mowry. Among his four kids, Tia, Tamera, and Tahj are actors, but his son, Tavior, is a musician. Tia and Tamera are also identical twins.

Relationship Status: Previously Married To Darlene Mowry

Timothy Mowry used to be a married man and he had found his love in Darlene Dowry. But sadly, their marriage didn't go as planned. The exact date remains to be known but they divorced in 2015.

Timothy and Darlene tied the knot in 1975 and they had first known each other in high school. Most young marriages don't go well and it was the case with these two too. The high school sweethearts had tied the knot at the age of eighteen.

Both Timothy and his ex-wife, Darlene, were in the military. They joined the military after school and got married later on. Their daughter, Tamera, shared the story that the family used to move a lot when she was a kid since they were serving the country and could be posted anywhere.

Net Worth Status Of Timothy Mowry

The retired soldier, Timothy Mowry, has an estimated net worth of $2 Million. His time in the military can be credited to his wealth. He has also made a bit of a television appearance with her daughter Tia's show, Tia Mowry At Home, which could have potentially paid him some money.

Besides that, it is the pension that's keeping Timothy alive, as his other businesses and sources of income (if any) have been kept under wraps. His wealth might not seem much for a celebrity but he is a retired man, and his kids are all grown up, so the wealth is probably more than enough for him.

Father Of Four Kids

Timothy Mowry shares four kids with his ex-wife, Darlene. He has two daughters named Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry and two sons named Tavior Mowry and Tahj Mowry.

Timothy's daughters Tia and Tamera were his first kids and they are identical twins. They were born on July 6, 1978. Both of them are actors by profession. And they also started their acting career working together in shows like Twitches, Twitches Too, and Sister, Sister. Tamera is a married woman and her husband is Adam Housely. Tia used to be married to Cory Hardict.

Son, Tahj was born on May 17, 1986. He is also an actor by profession and has been involved with some popular stuff like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Kim Possible, and Desperate Housewives. Tavior is the youngest child, having been born on July 5, 1993, and is a professional musician. But he has also acted once in the film Karen.

Grandfather Of Five Kids

Timothy's kids have all grown up and some of them are even married and have kids. In other words, he has become a grandfather. His three kids, Tia, Tamera, and Tavior are responsible for making him a grandpa.

Tia shares two kids with her ex-husband, Cory Hardict. They are Cairo Tiahna Hardrict and Cree Hardrict. Tamera is also the mother of two kids, Aden John Tanner Housley and Ariah Talea Housley. Tavior is the father of Truimph Alexander Mowry, who he shares with his wife, Zandy Fitzgerald.

About Mowry's Military Career

Timothy entered the US Army as a normal soldier and was a decorated man by the time he retired. His biggest achievement while serving the nation was becoming the first sergeant. He had also been in the Gulf war.

But, what people talk about the most about Timothy's army days was his marriage to Darlene. People, in their article, mentioned his daughter, Tia, saying that her parents ran away to get married at 18 when they were in the army. They were in too hurry to get married but did stay together for many years.

Timothy retired later on from the military but he didn't stop serving the country. Once retiring as a sergeant, he found himself working as a Custody Officer at the Glendale Police Department.

Timothy's Wife, Darlene, Left Army For The Kids

Timothy had a proper career in the military and even retired with dignity but the same thing can't be said about Darlene whose career was short-lived. She decided to leave the military to take care of her kids.

Daughter Tia wanted to make a career in the entertainment industry and the home of Hollywood is Los Angeles. For her career, her family decided to live in LA. But this also meant she had to say goodbye to the army and retire early.

Tia has also disclosed that they didn't allow both of her parents to retire and for this Darlene was by herself, taking care of the kids in LA for a while, while her then-husband, Timothy was in Texas, and later on, posted in Germany for a few years.

Timothy Mowry Kids Have Been In Controversies

Timothy kids have been the talk of the news for the wrong reasons in the past. His three kids, Tia, Tamera, and Tahj Mowry, have found themselves in a bit of a controversy.

Twin Tia and Tamera became the talk of the media for the wrong reason because of the man in their life. Shortly after divorcing Cory Hardict, Tia was spotted with another man. This led to many people believing that she had cheated on Cory but it was never proven.

Tamera's husband Adam Housley was accused of racism in the past because of his previous association with the news media, Fox News. And, Timothy's son, Tahj was alleged by his late ex-girlfriend, Naya Rivera that he ditched her because her finances weren't as good as his. Rivera mentioned this in her memoir as per Vice.

Timothy's Time Raising A Family

Timothy may have been out serving in the military most of the time, but he was also a father and had a job raising the four kids. His four kids have been raised well, which can give us an idea that he and his ex-wife, Darlene, were good parents.

Son, Tahj has said that his parents taught him to always be thankful for what they have. The family would always have big dinners together. The daughter Tia was also a playful child and would get into trouble with his family now and then. And Timothy has said that Tahj would take a lot of the blame on himself.

Timothy's kids would also sing very loudly and it wasn't something that he would find pleasant. Back when Titanic had just come out, they would sing Celine Dion songs and it wasn't something he liked. Tia and Tamera would also fight a lot as a kid. They would also blackmail their young brother, Tahj, like they once did by exposing his hidden C grade report card to the parents.
