Lil Meech’s parents are Demetrius Edward Flenory Sr. and Latarra Shane Eutsey. His father, popularly known as Big Meech, has been serving a 30-year prison sentence, which commenced in 2008, at the Federal Correctional Institute, Sheridan. His mother, on the other hand, used to work as a flight attendant but currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she earns her living as a real estate agent.

Lil Meech was only five years old when his father was arrested and subsequently incarcerated. After primarily living a low-key life, he caught the attention of the media and the general public for his portrayal of his father, Big Meech, in the BMF TV series, which is essentially rapper and producer 50 Cent’s adaptation of his family history. His performances earned rave reviews and have ostensibly led to questions about who his parents are and what they have been up to since he was born. This article answers those questions.

Latarra Shane Eutsey is Lil Meech’s Mother in Real Life

In the BMF TV series, Lil Meech’s mother is portrayed by African American rapper and actress Arkeisha Antoinette Knight aka Kash Doll. However, in real life, the woman responsible for bringing Demetrius Flenory Jr. aka Lil Meech into this world is none other than African American real estate agent Latarra Shane Eutsey.

She was born on January 13, 1969, a piece of information indicating that she is currently 53 years old. Her birth sign is Capricorn, and as previously stated she identifies with the African American community. Several sources have stated that Latarra was born in Dania Beach, Florida, but those sources have neglected to mention her upbringing.

Details of her early life, including the identities of the members of her birth family, including her parents and any siblings she might have had, have yet to become public knowledge. We also have no way of knowing the extent of her academic qualifications because she seems to keep a low profile.

She Used To Be a Flight Attendant

According to various verified sources, Latarra Shane Eutsey, Lil Meech’s real-life mother, used to work as a flight attendant. Nonetheless, several aspects of her experiences in that field of endeavor, except that she worked for Delta Airlines for several years, seem to have taken a backseat to some other life experiences, including her current job as a real estate agent.

We can confirm that she has more than a decade and a half worth of experience in the real estate industry, having obtained her broker license from Broward County in 2006. We have also verified and confirmed that she currently works with Real Property Executives Company, a company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, that deals with residential and commercial properties.

Her current estimated net worth of more than $1 million suggests that she has financially done pretty well for herself. Lil Meech’s mom appears to be currently single. The few details of her previous relationship in the spotlight are directly related to the fact that she and the actor’s father used to be an item.

Lil Meech’s Father is Big Meech

Compared to his mother, Lil Meech’s dad, Big Meech, has a significantly higher public profile. Born Demetrius Edward Flenory Sr. on June 21, 1968, he is one-half of the founding members of the infamous drug trafficking and money laundering organization known as the Black Mafia Family (BMF) alongside his younger brother Terry Lee “Southwest Tee” Flenory.

His father, Charles Flenory, died in July 2017, while his mother, Lucile Flenory, is still doing everything in her power to advocate for the incarcerated drug lord despite exonerating herself from the drug-related activities when the law eventually caught up with him.

At this point, it is important to include that Big Meech and his brother Southwest Tee are not the only children of their parents. Lil Meech has an aunt, his father’s only sister, whose name is Nicole, and she is Big Meech’s youngest sibling. Not much is known about her at the moment.

Lil Meech’s Father Went to Prison When Lil Meech Was Just Five Years Old

If it is not already apparent, let’s reiterate that Big Meech is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institute, Sheridan, for various crimes, including money laundering and other drug-related charges.

The criminal enterprise he started with his brother in the early 1980s during their years in high school was just small-time drug dealing before it eventually metamorphosed into a massive drug enterprise and money laundering that had the authorities on their tails for several years.

When the law eventually caught up with them, they were both sentenced to 30 years in prison. At the moment, Big Meech and his brother Terry are serving their sentences differently. Big Meech remains in prison, while his brother was released on May 5, 2020, albeit to home confinement.

His release had more to do with a compassionate pardon because of health issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. Demetrius tried to take advantage of the situation by appealing for his release on the same terms but the appeal was rejected, meaning that by the time he completes his sentence, he will be around 61 years old.

His Parents Started Dating in 1999

There aren’t sufficient details to describe the time Lil Meech’s parents spent as a couple, but we can confirm that they started dating in 1999. Around a year later, on April 22, 2000, the former couple welcomed the rapper and actor into the world. He is the only child they have together, and to date, he is the only child of both parents individually.

They continued their relationship after the birth of the 53 year-old but never married. We have yet to confirm whether they were still a couple when Big Meech went to prison, but we can confirm that they are no longer together even though none of our sources can establish a timeline that connects to when they went their separate ways.

He Has a Good Relationship With His Father Big Meech

Even though his father was never really around during much of his childhood because of his prison situation, Lil Meech, now an adult by all means, has managed to maintain a good relationship with his father.

Several sources have unveiled that before he went to prison, Big Meech was a very hands-on father to his son and that the youngster visited him in prison from time to time. He was also in constant communication with his dad during the early days of the BMF TV series.
