Meet Geno Smith’s Parents: Geno Smith Jr. and Tracey Sellers

Eugene Smith Jr., alias Geno Smith Jr., and Tracey Sellers are the Seattle Seahawks quarterback’s father and mother. On October 19, 1990, they welcomed the athletes to Lakemont, Georgia. Aside from their names, nothing is known about Geno Smith’s parents, including their ages and occupations. His family has been the most supportive of him throughout his career. Geno got his moniker from his grandfather’s nickname, Big Geno. Melvin Bratton, a former football running back and current sports agent, is his cousin.

Damon Cogdell coached him when he was at Miramar High School. He graduated from high school as the third-best passer in Broward County history. Furthermore, Geno Smith’s father allegedly got a death threat when he was chosen quarterback of the New York Giants in 2017. When the footballer’s father received a phone call, he was at work. After establishing that it was Eugene Smith Jr., the caller said, “Your son better not start or we are gonna kill you.” Smith Jr. laughed and hung up, having dismissed the threat. The incident was not reported to NFL security or the police.

Geno Smith’s Parents and Siblings

The NFL player is one of four children born to his father and mother. Geno Smith’s younger brother, Geonte Smith, is a superb wide receiver who has followed in his footsteps. Geonte earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Savannah State University in the late 2010s. On February 15, 1996, he was born. Geno and his younger brother, according to the Sun Sentinel, followed in their big brothers’ footsteps. Their older siblings attended Miramar High School. Although their identities and current playing careers are unknown, the two oldest Smiths were standout football players at the school.

The Smith siblings, on the other hand, worked hard to forge their own identities and emerge from the shadows of their older siblings. Hopefully, the Smith siblings will have even greater success in the following days.

Is Geno Smith Married?

Geno Smith is a husband. On July 20, 2015, he tied the knot with his college love, Hayley Eastham. The adoring couple originally met in college and fell in love. Geno Smith’s wife is a Juveline Rights Advocacy Project student attorney, according to reports. In addition, the sportsman is the happy father of one child, Seven Santana Smith. Hayley is not the original mother of the kid, since the NFL player has previously dated a number of women and shares his child with one of his prior partners. Regardless, the couple is raising the child away from the spotlight. Furthermore, the family wants a solitary existence. Let’s hope they’re having a good time away from the cameras.
