Chris Noth has two children – Orion Christopher Noth (born January 18, 2008) and Keats Noth (born February 18, 2020). Their mother is Tara Wilson, who is also a celebrity television personality.

Chris Noth is regarded as one of the most-beloved industry heartthrobs. This is because of his portrayal of the randy, emotionally unavailable character “Mr. Big” on the hit sitcom ‘Sex and the City. Here are all the up-to-date details you need about Noth’s sons, who are both more charming than the actor ever was.

Christopher Noth’s first son, Orion Christopher Noth, was born on January 18, 2008, in Los Angeles, USA. He is 15 years old now. He was born to his actor parents, Chris Noth and Tara Wilson, in a private Los Angeles hospital. At birth, little Orion weighed about 7 lbs, 10 oz. He was born under the sun sign Capricorn and is both an American citizen and national. Orion is mixed; his father is white, while his mother is biracial.

When speaking about his son’s birth in a 2008 interview with popular TV host Oprah Winfrey, Chris Noth explained the origin of his son’s unique name. He explained that his wife Tara had had a scare during her pregnancy, and the doctors had told the couple that the baby wouldn’t be able to make it full-term; they even predicted a miscarriage.

Chris Noth and his wife then went home to speak to the unborn baby, and together, they spoke positive affirmations to him. The result was a completely healthy, bouncing baby boy who was born full-term. So they then decided to name him Orion in honor of the constellation ‘Orion The Hunter’ as a tribute to their son’s warrior nature.

Orion Christopher has grown up very nicely indeed. The young teenager stands just a head below his father and is rapidly catching up to his height — Chris is over 6 feet tall. Orion is currently attending a high school in Los Angeles. His school name is kept private, understandably for security reasons. It appears he lives with both his parents and his younger brother in an upscale part of town.

At the moment, there is no mention of Orion being anything other than a young teenage celebrity kid. He doesn’t seem to be interested in taking the movie route like his parents, nor does he seem interested in any other career path at the moment. What Orion does enjoy is playing basketball with his friends, but it seems like a passing hobby and not a future career for him.

Like his brother, he is of mixed race and has American nationality. His second, biracial ancestry is derived from his actress mother, who is a native of Vancouver, Canada. The Noths take naming their children very seriously. Well, their second son wasn’t any different. Keats’ name was chosen as a tribute to the famous English poet John Keats, whose works greatly influenced Chris Noth.

Keats is still an infant and isn’t believed to be in school just yet. It is left to be seen whether he will live up to his great name in the not-too-distant future.

Chris Noth was Embroiled in a Huge Scandal Shortly After The Birth of His Second Son

In late 2021, a year after the birth of Noth’s second son, the actor and his erstwhile private family were rocked with very horrifying allegations. However, contrary to popular belief, these stories had nothing to do with the birth of Keats Noth and everything to do with his father and his alleged improper conduct. The Sex and the City actor was accused of sexual assault by a total of four women, three of whom chose to be anonymous.

One woman alleged that he had assaulted her in 2004, while the other claimed hers had occurred in 2015. Both claims were made anonymously through the Hollywood Reporter. Note that both of these incidents fall into the timeline of Noth’s long-term relationship with Tara.

In his response statement to the allegations, Chris Noth denied all the accusations and stated that they were categorically false. He did admit that he’d possibly met those women but maintained that his relations with them were consensual. No charges have been filed against him yet, nor is he being investigated at the moment.

Sadly, his marriage to Tara received a huge blow after the allegations were made. It seems the actor’s wife is considering leaving him, but neither of them has filed for a divorce just yet. However, they have only made one public appearance together since 2021, and it was suspiciously brief. Unnamed sources say that she simply wishes to “protect her children” no matter what happens.

Chris Noth was fired by CBS and will no longer appear on the show, Equalizer. His brand endorsement deal with workout company Peloton was also abruptly canceled. In general, things don’t seem to be going too well for him at the moment.

Chris Noth was 65 and His Wife 37 When Keats was Born

In September 2019, Chris Noth announced on Instagram that he and his wife were expecting their second baby together. He went on to share a picture of Tara and her baby bump with the funny caption, “Orion is getting a brother – I better get my ass in shape.”

On February 18, 2020, the then 65-year-old actor and his then 37-year-old wife welcomed Keats Noth into the world. The overjoyed father took to Instagram once again to post a picture of his newborn with the caption, “Down from the heavens comes our second son- Keats! A thing of beauty is a joy forever.”

He received a myriad of congratulatory messages, including two from industry colleagues, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis, who played Carrie and Charlotte in SATC, respectively.
