Susan Andrews is rarely seen in public, so she is best known as the Tucker Carlson wife. There is not much information available regarding the couple’s life.

However, Andrews once narrowly escaped an imminent threat by hiding in her pantry while attackers tried to enter her home through the front door.

The news anchor, Susan Andrews, was able to complete her education with the assistance of her father because of the background that her husband, Tucker Carlson, shared with her.

While they were still in school together, he pursued her passionately, and when the appropriate moment arrived, Carlson asked Andrews for her hand in marriage.

Carlson was a senior in college at the time of the couple’s wedding, which took place in Rhode Island in the early 1990s. They had a wonderful time on their honeymoon in Bermuda, and shortly after that, they started a family of their own.

Andrews and the former co-host of “Fox and Friends Weekend” became parents to four children, all of whom she raised while staying home with her family.

Early Life

Andrews and Carlson initially became acquainted with one another when Carlson was 14 years old and attending boarding school for the first time.

Her father, Reverend George Andrews, served as the institution’s headmaster.

All of Carlson’s former classmates have vivid and amusing recollections of him while he was still in school.

Andrews, on the other hand, had a more favorable recollection of him, and she described why: “There was a bounce in his walk.” Even then, I thought he was an upbeat and optimistic person dressed in khaki pants and a ribbon belt.

Carlson considered Andrews “the cutest tenth grader in America,” and they began dating shortly after that. It is said that Andrews’ husband was a “lackluster” student who had difficulty getting into college based on merit.

Thanks, father’s intervention, Carlson was able to enroll at Trinity College in Hartford through arranged accommodations. During his last semester, Carlson proposed to Andrews in the spring of 1991, six months prior to his graduation.

He said his marriage proposal was “very 19th century,” which he viewed as a “good thing to do.”

Professional Life

After being married, the couple started a family and now has a daughter named Lillie, who is 27 years old. Buckley, 25, Hopie, 23, and Dorothy come in second and third, respectively, after Lillie.

By the end of the 1990s, Andrews had successfully delivered all three of the couple’s offspring. She had been employed as a teacher at an Episcopal school but left that position to focus on raising her children.

When their children were younger, her husband was also a present father who regularly read to them when they were little.

In this regard, many families have made it a point to teach their children about the significance of the Constitution by reading the Bill of Rights on Independence Day. It is a custom that is widely appreciated.

He would let off a firecracker following the recital of each liberty. To inculcate a sense of patriotism in his children, Carlson would fly the American flag in the front yard of the farmhouse in Virginia that they had refurbished in 1906.

He believed that it was vitally important for his children to value and not take for granted their privileges as citizens.

He was honest enough to say that patriotism was “so uncool.” Despite this, he thought it was perfectly safe because, due to their youth, “they didn’t know that.”

While the year of their youngest daughter’s birth cannot be determined exactly, it probably occurred in the early 2000s. Andrews was surprised by her husband’s high level of parental involvement and exclaimed, “He’s so imaginative with them.”

Challenging situations

In 2005, Andrews’ husband debuted a show dubbed “Tucker,” but its popularity didn’t persist for very long despite its initial success.

Carlson experienced a spell of depression following the show’s cancellation, during which he fretted about providing for his family and how he would support them financially.

Because the show was canceled, he was left without work, and his family would soon be forced into poverty.

The couple had relocated from their previous house in Alexandria, Virginia, to Madison, New Jersey; however, they were compelled to relocate once again and now reside with an old friend of Carlson’s, Neil Patel, in Washington, District of Columbia. Andrews did not leave Carlson’s side at any point throughout the event.

The congregation, led by Andrews’s father, was a Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice member.

She and Carlson consider themselves members of the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion. Carlson credited his wife for helping him grow in his faith and causing him to take it more seriously.

In 2018, the family was put through another traumatic experience when Andrews was home alone with her family when she heard loud banging and yelling at the front door.

Andrews was getting ready to leave for dinner at the time. She was so frightened that she thought an intruder was in the house, so she hid in the pantry and called the police.

It was a blessing that none of their children were at home, but Carlson had to be at work because he was scheduled to go live on Fox News in two hours.

After calling the emergency services, Andrews sent her husband many texts to keep him apprised of the situation after she had already called 911. On the other hand, what she believed to be an invasion was a protest.

Andrews informed Carlson that someone broke the front door by throwing himself against it.

Smash Racism, an anti-fascist group, circulated a video of the demonstration, which protesters accused Carlson of inciting hatred in. The video has since been deleted. The demonstration attracted roughly 20 people.

The organization held the belief that hatred was an ideology that contributed to the deaths of thousands of people and that Carlson was “spreading fear” into their homes through the use of his platform.

They used group chants to threaten the anchor of Fox News, letting him know they knew where he lived and reminding him that he was just as unsafe as they were. Both of them were in a dangerous situation.

Carlson claims that the demonstrators had signs with his address on them and requested that he leave the neighborhood. They also carried the signs with them.

At the time, he was trying to find out who had organized the gathering but needed to know who had done so.

It was stated that the police responded within minutes of being informed, and by the time the demonstrators had left, the perimeter protection around Carlson’s residence had been increased.

In a tweet, Megyn Kelly, who formerly worked as a reporter for Fox News, rushed to Tucker Carlson’s rescue and said that his family did not deserve to go through such a frightening experience.
