American citizen Bryce Laspisa was born on April 30, 1994, in Springfield, Illinois under the sign of the Taurus. On August 30, 2013, while en route to his parent’s home, Bryce vanished. He hasn’t been located since.

Bryce Laspisa Age, Height, and Appearance

Bryce would be almost 28 years old if he were still with us today. He stands about 6 feet (1.85 meters) tall, has brown eyes, and has short ginger hair. He weighs about 170 lbs (80kgs).

Bryce Laspisa Early Life and Education

Bryce’s parents, Michael Laspisa and Karen, raised him as an only child in Springfield. They had already reached old age when Bryce was born, and they retired around the time Bryce finished high school.

He was always interested in art of all types, but his favorite genres were painting and photography. He was also quite gregarious and had a lot of friends in both his elementary school and subsequently at Naperville High School.

After graduating in 2012, Bryce moved away from his parents to Chico, California, where he enrolled in Sierra College to study graphic and industrial design. However, he only finished the first two semesters of his studies before going missing. The family then relocated to Laguna Niguel in Orange County, California.

Bryce Laspisa girlfriend

The only woman that the general public is aware of that Bryce dated was Kim Sly, whom he met when he enrolled at Sierra College.

Only a few days after being introduced by a mutual friend, Bryce and Kim began dating, and they were content. Most of their friends thought they were a happy couple because they frequently went out and studied together.

Kim occasionally played video games with Bryce, and the two of them occasionally shared numerous interests, including art.

She first realized something was awry when Bryce broke up with Kim because nothing untoward had occurred between them to warrant their breakup.

Bryce Laspisa disappearance

On the 29th of August 2013, very early in the morning, Bryce hopped in his car and began the three-hour drive to his parent’s residence. The last time he spoke to his mother was at two in the morning on August 30. He told her he had to pull over in the Sierra Pelona Mountains next to Interstate 5.

Later that day, police knocked on Michael and Karen’s houses to inform them that Bryce’s automobile had been found damaged close to Castaic Lake. The youngster vanished without a trace, and his disappearance remains an unsolved mystery.

What led to Bryce Laspisa disappearance?

According to Bryce’s parents, he had altered his behavior before going missing. They suspected that he was depressed since he became less outgoing, withdrawn, and erratic.

At one point, Bryce revealed to his roommate Sean Dixon and his girlfriend Kim Sly that he was taking the medication Vyvanse, which is typically prescribed to treat ADHD but which Bryce did not have. It is well known that the medication has a number of unfavorable side effects, including mania and depression.

Alcohol had also become Bryce’s addiction, and he would get quite wasted every weekend. Bryce sent his fiancée a text message three days before he vanished, telling her that she would be better off without him. He also sent a text message to his roommate Sean saying, “I love you dude, genuinely.” I have never met anyone better than you. You kept my soul alive. Then Bryce handed Sean his Xbox, and he also gave someone a pricey pair of diamond earrings that he had.

On August 28, Bryce’s parents received a call from Sean informing them of his concerns, and later that day, Bryce visited Kim to discuss their breakup. Kim was visibly concerned for Bryce and stole the keys to his Toyota Highlander as a result.

When Kim refused to give Bryce his keys back so that he could go home and sleep, Bryce called his mother, Karen, who persuaded Kim to do so. Karen even considered visiting Bryce and spending some time with him, but Bryce declined.

Only a few hours later, with just a little more than a day till Bryce vanished, he called his mother and said that he had a lot to discuss with her. He began traveling in the direction of his mother’s house at midnight, and the police determined that he was about an hour’s drive south of Rocklin when he dialed her telephone at one in the morning (29 August).

A man by the name of Christian got in touch with Bryce’s parents and informed them that Bryce had arrived at his Castro Tire and Gas station at around 11 a.m. on foot and that he had requested three gallons of fuel because he had claimed to be out of gas.

It was already 3 p.m. when Christian went to check on Bryce in the spot where his car had stopped and found that he hadn’t moved from the spot in several hours. Christian persuaded him to keep driving in their direction by explaining to him that his parents were concerned.

After searching for Bryce for several hours, Michael and Karen phoned the police, who located him just a few miles from where Christian had discovered him. According to the two police officers who interacted with Bryce, he was friendly and neither drunk nor high when they spoke to him.

On August 30, at two in the morning, Bryce spoke to his mother, and that was the last time anyone heard from him.

There are many opinions about what happened to Bryce, but only two stand out: some think he committed himself, while others say he decided to vanish and has begun a new life under a different name.
