Michelle Blair, also known as the “Freezer Mom”, is a Detroit woman who confessed to murdering her two children, Stoni Ann Blair and Stephen Gage Berry, and hiding their bodies in a freezer for years.

She claimed that she killed them because they were sexually abusing her youngest son, but there was no evidence to support her allegation.

In this article, we will explore the chilling details of her case, from her abusive childhood to her shocking arrest and sentencing.

Who is Michelle Blair?

Michelle Blair was born on June 3, 1978, in Detroit, Michigan.

She had a troubled upbringing, as she was sexually abused by her father and physically abused by her mother.

She dropped out of high school and became pregnant with her first child at the age of 18.

Michelle had four children with two different men, Alexander Dorsey and Steven Berry, but neither of them stayed in her life or supported her financially.

She lived in poverty and struggled to provide for her children.

She was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder but did not receive proper treatment.

Blair was described by her relatives and neighbors as a strict and paranoid mother who isolated herself and her children from the outside world.

She rarely let her children go outside or socialize with anyone.

Blair homeschooled them and monitored their every move.

She also subjected them to severe physical and emotional abuse, such as beating them with belts, burning them with hot water, choking them with bags, and calling them names.

Where are Michelle Blair’s kids now?

Michelle Blair had four children: Stoni Ann Blair, Stephen Gage Berry, Gabrielle Blair, and Matthew Berry.

Stoni was born on May 7, 2001, and Stephen was born on May 1, 2004.

They were both killed by their mother in 2012 and 2013, respectively.

Their bodies were stuffed in a freezer and remained there until they were discovered in 2015.

Gabrielle was born on August 1, 1997, and Matthew was born on June 22, 2006.

They were the only survivors of their mother’s abuse.

They witnessed the torture and death of their siblings and were forced to keep it a secret.

Gabrielle and Matthew also suffered physical injuries and psychological trauma from their mother’s violence.

They were taken into protective custody after their mother’s arrest and placed in foster care.

In 2015, a judge granted custody of Gabrielle to her father, Alexander Dorsey, who had been absent from her life for years.

He claimed that he did not know about the abuse or the deaths of his other children.

He also agreed to pay $50,000 in child support to Gabrielle.

In 2016, a judge granted custody of Matthew to his paternal aunt, Angela Gordon, who had been fighting for his rights since his mother’s arrest.

She said that she loved him as her own son and wanted to give him a better life.

She also agreed to let him have contact with his sister Gabrielle.

Blair was not at home when the crew arrived.

She was staying at a neighbor’s house with Gabrielle and Matthew.

The neighbor informed the police about her location and she was arrested shortly after.

When she was taken away, she said “I’m sorry”.

The police also interviewed Gabrielle and Matthew, who revealed the horrific details of their mother’s abuse and their siblings’ deaths.

They said that their mother killed Stoni and Stephen because she believed that they were raping Matthew.

They also said that they were afraid of their mother and did not tell anyone what happened.

During her court appearances, she displayed anger and defiance towards the authorities and the media.

She also lashed out at the fathers of her children for being irresponsible and neglectful.

She said that she did not regret killing Stoni and Stephen because they were “demons” who deserved to die.

On July 17, 2015, she was sentenced to life in prison without parole by Judge Dana Hathaway, who said that she imposed the death penalty on her own children.
