Do you like to watch the TV franchise ‘Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta’? If you do, then you might know about the recent quarrel that took between two of the contestants, Karlie Redd and Pooh Hicks. However, before talking about that particular controversy, we first will talk about some basic facts about Pooh Hicks. After all, she is the one we are talking about today.

Is Pooh Transgender?

The reality TV shows these days do not lack controversies of any form. Same is the case with ‘Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta’. Recently, one of the contestants of the show, Karlie Redd posted an explicit photo of Pooh Hicks. In addition to that, she also implied that Hicks was a transgender. However, she deleted the photo before it was viral on social media. Apparently, it seems that the news became viral anyway. The photo is not available anywhere now, but the news seems to be true. After Redd accused Pooh of being a transgender, it’s obvious that she lost her temper. After that, she replied to Redd through an Instagram post. In the caption, she wrote that the accusation was false and disgraceful. Well, at least that’s what she was willing to tell the people. However, we could not find that particular post on Pooh’s Instagram. You are welcome to search for it as you want. You can read more about the controversy on the source.

Real Name

Apparently, the name we know Pooh by is not her real name. It seems like some people do not like their birth names that their parents gave them. And eventually, they end up making new names for themselves. This thing is also true in the case of Pooh Hicks. According to the information available on Wikipedia, her real name is ‘Gynel Ladawn Campbell’. Now that’s some name that she has.

Pooh Hicks Husband: Hiriam Hicks

Well, Pooh has crossed her 40s. So you would expect her to be married by now. If that’s the case, then you are absolutely right. Apparently, Pooh is married to her husband Hiriam Hicks. As far as we know, Hiriam is a former president of Island Black Music. The couple is living together for a long time. In fact, they are the parents of three children.

Pooh Hicks Age: 44 years

Records available on a source tell us that Pooh was born on December 8, 1974. IS this is true, then she is currently 44 years of age. Hicks was born in Detroit, Michigan. Apparently, she started her career as an adult stripper at nightclubs in Detroit and Atlanta.
