Ivan Cornejo Car Accident

Cornejo is an incredibly talented singer-songwriter hailing from Riverside, California, known for his expertise in American regional Mexican music.

His musical journey began at a young age, and it was a middle school breakup that ignited his passion for songwriting.

Determined to learn the guitar, he turned to YouTube tutorials, and his hard work paid off when he successfully mastered Ritchie Valens’ “La Bamba.”

Ivan’s debut album, Alma Vacia, enjoyed tremendous success.

It reached number two on the Top Latin Albums chart and number seven on the US Billboard Regional Mexican Albums chart.

T3R Elemento and Grupo Los De La O are among the artists who have influenced Ivan’s musical style.

His guitar solos often draw inspiration from alternative rock, a genre his mother and brother listened to extensively during his upbringing.

Ivan’s songwriting skills propelled him to the top of the Billboard Latin Songwriters chart in late 2021.

In 2022, he released his second studio album, Daado, which achieved similar, if not greater, success.

The album debuted and peaked at number one on the Regional Mexican Albums chart.

It amassed 11.9 million on-demand streams and sold 8,000 album-equivalent units.

In recent times, rumors have been circulating about a supposed car crash involving Ivan Cornejo, causing concern among fans and the public.

Unfounded Rumors

However, it’s important to clarify that these rumors are unfounded.

The speculation gained traction due to a tweet from a user named Gaby, with the username “@gBaby__md,”.

He expressed frustration after being pranked into believing Ivan Cornejo had been involved in a serious car accident.

On March 6, 2023, Gaby tweeted, “It’s 3 am, and I just got pranked into thinking Ivan Cornejo was in a bad car accident,” venting her annoyance.

Ivan himself later tweeted, “I had a complete meltdown FOR NO REASON, f*** y’all,” confirming that the rumors were false.
