Mariah Amani Buckles, known professionally as Mariah the Scientist, is an American singer-songwriter. She released her debut studio album Master, on August 23, 2019, with her now former labels, Canadian rapper Tory Lanez’s label One Umbrella Records and RCA Records.

Mariah discovered singing when she joined her elementary school chorus. She began writing songs while attending St. John’s University in New York on a biology scholarship, which she later dropped out of to concentrate on her music career. Mariah’s stage name came from her genuine love of science. She released her debut EP, the six-track To Die For, on SoundCloud in January 2018.

Is Mariah the scientist related to Brittany Renner?

Mariah the Scientist makes it known the two are not related. Mariah the Scientist is trying to make a name for herself as an artist, so by no means does she want to be confused with the fitness model, Brittany Renner.

Brittany Renner used to date Lil Uzi Vert, but her current rise to fame came after she had a baby with NBA basketball player PJ Washington and then immediately broke up with him, reportedly to get child support. She denied “trapping him” during an interview with DJ Akademics, and is now using her notoriety to publish another book and start a podcast.
