The rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, also known as 69, has been the subject of many rumors and controversies in his short but eventful career. From his legal troubles to his beefs with other artists, he has always managed to stay in the headlines. But recently, a new rumor emerged that claimed he was dead. Is 6ix9ine dead or alive?

The Overdose Incident

The rumor of 6ix9ine’s death started after he was hospitalized due to an overdose of caffeine and a weight loss supplement called Hydroxycut. According to US Day News, the rapper took twice the recommended dose of the pills and experienced increased heart rate and sweating. He was rushed to the hospital and stayed there for two days.

The overdose was not a suicide attempt, as some speculated, but rather a result of his desire to lose weight. The rapper gained some pounds while he was in prison and wanted to slim down from 200 lbs to 150 lbs. He denied using any other drugs and said he had to stay clean because of his probation terms.

The Death Hoax

While 6ix9ine was recovering from the overdose, some sources started spreading false rumors that he had died. They even posted fake obituaries and tweets announcing his death. Some of them claimed that his 14-year-old boyfriend found him unconscious and called the paramedics, but they could not revive him. Others said that he was shot by his enemies or that he had contracted COVID-19.

The death hoax quickly went viral on social media, causing confusion and panic among his fans. Many of them expressed their shock and sadness, while others questioned the validity of the reports. Some of his haters also celebrated his supposed demise and made jokes about it.

The Truth

However, the death rumors were soon debunked by reliable sources and by the rapper himself. The Shade Room, a popular entertainment news outlet, reported that 6ix9ine was doing fine and was back at home. DJ Akademiks, a close friend of the rapper, also confirmed that he was alive and well. He said that he talked to him and that he was running on a track and in good spirits.

6ix9ine also posted a video on his Instagram account, showing that he was alive and kicking. He thanked his fans for their support and said that he was working on new music. He also addressed the rumors and said that he was not dead, but that he wished he was. He said that he was tired of the hate and the negativity that he faced every day.

The Conclusion

So, is 6ix9ine dead? The answer is no. He is alive and healthy, despite the rumors that claimed otherwise. He survived an overdose of caffeine and a weight loss supplement, but he did not die. He is still making music and stirring up controversy, as he always does. Whether you love him or hate him, you cannot deny that he is one of the most talked-about rappers in the industry.
