James doted on his children and was delighted to be a dad twice over when Liliana arrived in 2012. At the time, Liliana Gandolfini was born, his father’s manager Mark Armstrong revealed to the USA Today: “I am happy to confirm that James and Deborah Gandolfini are the proud parents of a happy and healthy baby girl,” Armstrong says in a statement. “Liliana Ruth Gandolfini was born in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 10th and weighed 7 lbs., 9 oz. … James and Deborah are thrilled and all are doing well.”
Before Liliana’s mother Deborah Lin, her father, James was married to his ex-wife, Marcy Wudarsk, her brother’s mother. The couple got married in 1999 and welcomed their son that same year. However, the former couple called it a quit after three years of marriage in 2002.
Following their split, James moved on with his second wife, Deborah Lin, in 2008. The lovebirds expanded the Enough Said alum’s family in 2012 when they welcomed his second child and their daughter, Liliana. Tragically, James died the following year at age 51 in June 2013 from a heart attack.
Sadly, Liliana Gandolfini was just 9 months old when her father died from a heart attack in Rome during a vacation to Italy, Deadline reported at the time. He was only 51 years old at the time of his death.
Liliana and her mother, Deborah, have remained out of the public eye since the death of her father James Gandolfini. They were last seen out and about in June 2020, when the Daily Mail reported they were living in Los Angeles after leaving New York City, where they lived as a family with James.
So little is known about James Gandolfini’s youngest child, Liliana Gandolfini that it is difficult to say whether she is also going to follow in the footsteps of the rest of her family members and become an actress. With her mother keeping her safe and away from press intrusion, and a good inheritance, it seems there are lots to look forward to after a difficult start caused by her father’s early death.
