Dyrus, a former professional League of Legends player, has been in a relationship with another gamer, Emiru, since 2016. They are regarded as the ideal ‘couple goal’ in the gaming and streaming communities because of their charming antics on live broadcasts. However, many of their followers were surprised to learn that their favorite gaming pair was on the verge of splitting up in 2020.

Dyrus Was Given a Second Chance in Relationship

Twitch streams’ fans were having a great time watching their favorite pair play games together. But they had no idea Dyrus and Emiru were on the brink of calling it quits. Dyrus came to Twitter on May 1, 2020, to reveal what was going on between him and his girlfriend. He said in the tweet that he wanted to be open about his relationship. He admitted that he had emotionally and psychologically harmed his fiancée and that they were on the verge of breaking up.

Dyrus continued his statement by saying that his partner had given their relationship a second opportunity and that he was also searching for rehabilitation. Dyrus also pleaded for forgiveness, apologized to everyone, and indicated that he should not have posted the prior post – a tweet from April that has since been removed. However, he responded to the post, saying he made a “very major mistake and said some awful things” and was attempting to put things right. I’d want to be completely honest about what occurred. We were about to split up because I had psychologically harmed Emily.

But now she’s giving me another opportunity, and I’m going to get counseling. I apologize for causing everyone to be concerned about me. I should not have tweeted about it. — Marcus Dyrus (@Dyrus) 1st of May, 2020. Your guess on what the deleted tweet was is as good as ours. But let’s hope the sweet pair is at a good place in their relationship.

Timeline of the Emiru-Dyrus Relationship

The Twitch broadcasting duo has been together for more than four years. Despite the fact that they began dating in June, the gamer just announced his fiancée on December 2, 2016, after sharing a lovely image on Instagram. Since then, the two have remained together and have supported each other through every stage of their life. Because they are both streamers, they are often seen playing games together and promoting one other on their own channels. Not only that, but they do not hesitate to share images of one another on social media networks. Emiru, for example, went to Twitter on Valentine’s Day in 2017 to post some gorgeous images of herself and Dyrus. The photos were accompanied by a touching statement in which she expressed her gratitude to him for always loving and supporting her.

On the third year of their relationship, the former League of Legends player released an animated image of two lovers kissing on June 21, 2019. He acknowledged his girlfriend in the caption and said that they’d been dating for three years. Dyrus hasn’t spoken anything new about his relationship since the post. However, based on the fact that he has not erased any of his postings with his girlfriend, it is fair to assume they are still together.

Who is Emiru?

Dyrus’ girlfriend is a costume designer. Her Instagram account, Emiru.jpg, shows her artwork depicting different anime characters. She also enjoys playing video games. So much so that she disclosed in a tweet dated October 17, 2019, that she broke up with her high school boyfriend after he pushed her to pick between him and League Of Legends. She put the game ahead of him and moved on.
