American political commentator and conservative talk radio host Laurence Allen Elder, better known as Larry Elder. Elder, a veteran of the media for over three decades, is widely recognized as a leader in the American right.

The Larry Elder Show, Elder’s first broadcast, debuted on KABC in Los Angeles in 1993, marking the beginning of his professional broadcasting career. Elder’s candid and unabashed conservatism won over a large audience, and the show’s popularity skyrocketed. Since then, Elder’s show has become nationally syndicated, allowing it to reach listeners all over the country.

Elder is a prolific writer in addition to his work in talk radio. He has written several nonfiction books, and his column is published by Creators Syndicate and read all over the country. Politics, race relations, and individual accountability are just some of the many themes that Elder explores in his writings.

Elder made his first run for public office in 2021, when he ran as a Republican in the recall election to replace Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom. Elder came in first among the replacement candidates, solidifying his status as a rising star in the Republican Party despite the recall’s defeat.

On April 20th, 2023, Elder declared his intention to run for president as the Republican nominee in the 2024 election. Elder’s rising profile and stature within the conservative movement made this move predictable.

The history of Elder is also significant. He grew up in Los Angeles’s Pico-Union and South Central neighborhoods. Randolph Elder, Elder’s father, served in the Marines during WWII before opening a cafe in Pico-Union. During World War II, his mother, Viola Conley, worked as a secretary for the United States Department of War. Perhaps Elder’s interest in politics and the conservative movement can be traced back to his upbringing in a family with opposing political views (his father was a Republican and his mother a Democrat).

The academic accomplishments of Elder are noteworthy as well. He attended accelerated classes at Fairfax and went on to graduate with honors from Crenshaw in 1970. He graduated from Brown University with a BA in political science in 1974 and from the University of Michigan Law School with a JD in 1977.

To sum up, Larry Elder, aka Laurence Allen Elder, is a conservative hero in the United States. Elder is a major figure in the conservative movement thanks to his years of experience in talk radio and his increasing clout in politics. The next few months will be exciting to watch as his campaign gains momentum, bolstered by his impressive background and academic accomplishments as a potential presidential candidate.

Does larry elder have kids?

Larry Elder is notoriously private, but it is widely known that he was married to a female doctor for two years. His ex-wife was reportedly a longtime friend of his, and the two of them got married in the early ’90s.

Unfortunately, they were unable to save their marriage and separated in 1994. Reportedly, Elder and his wife broke up because she wanted to start a family while he did not.

To the best of the public’s knowledge, Larry Elder does not have any offspring. Although not having children may seem unconventional to some, Elder has always been honest about his decision.
