NBA YoungBoy, also known as YoungBoy Never Broke Again, is one of the most popular and controversial rappers in the music industry. He has been involved in several legal issues, including charges of attempted murder, drug possession, and domestic violence. He is currently in jail awaiting trial for federal weapons charges.

But did NBA YoungBoy die? The answer is no. The rapper is still alive and well, despite the rumors and hoaxes that have circulated online. Here are some of the false reports that have claimed otherwise and how they were debunked.

NCAA YoungBoy: NBA YoungBoy look alike found dead in Union Springs

In January 2022, social media influencer NCAA YoungBoy, also known as Lil PNut, was killed in Union Springs, Alabama. He was best known for looking quite similar to NBA YoungBoy. According to ChangeofplanZ Media, he was shot multiple times by unknown assailants.

Some people confused NCAA YoungBoy with NBA YoungBoy and thought that the rapper had died. However, this was not the case. NBA YoungBoy was still in jail at the time and had no connection to NCAA YoungBoy or his death.

NBA Young Boy shot and killed in Baton Rouge

In September 2020, a fake news website called Channel 22 News published an article claiming that NBA Young Boy had been shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The article said that he was only 17 years old and that the motive for his murder was unknown.

The article was completely fabricated and had no basis in reality. NBA Young Boy was not 17 years old at the time, but 20. He was not in Baton Rouge, but in Los Angeles. And he was not shot or killed, but alive and healthy.

The website that posted the article is known for creating prank stories that users can share on social media to fool their friends. The website even has a disclaimer that says: “This website is an entertainment website, jokes are created by users. These are humourous jokes, fantasy, fictional, that should not be seriously taken or as a source of information.”

NBA YoungBoy found dead in his jail cell

In April 2021, NBA YoungBoy was arrested and taken into custody in Louisiana on federal weapons charges. He was denied bail and ordered to remain in jail until his trial.

A month after his arrest, a Facebook post falsely claimed that the rapper had been found dead in his jail cell. The post included a screenshot of an apparent news article with the headline: “Rapper NBA Youngboy Found Dead In His Jail Cell This Morning.”

The post was a hoax and the screenshot was fake. The image was edited to look like a news article from WBRZ-TV, a local news station in Baton Rouge. However, WBRZ-TV never reported such a story and confirmed that the screenshot was not from their website.

The rapper’s lawyer also denied the rumors and said that NBA YoungBoy was doing fine in jail. He said that the rapper was working on his music and preparing for his trial.

Conclusion

NBA YoungBoy is not dead. He is still alive and in jail awaiting trial for federal weapons charges. The rumors and hoaxes that have claimed otherwise are false and have been debunked by reliable sources.

If you are a fan of NBA YoungBoy, you can support him by listening to his music and following his official social media accounts. You can also avoid spreading false information and check the facts before sharing anything online.
