After earning her degree in business communications from the University of Oklahoma, Chandra set her sights on New York City, where she pursued a successful career in modelling under the prestigious agency Wilhelmina. It was during this time, in 2002, that she first crossed paths with Jimmie Johnson, igniting a connection that would shape their lives forever.

Their bond grew stronger with each passing year, leading to a pivotal moment in 2003 when Jimmie proposed to Chandra during a romantic vacation in Beaver Creek, Colorado. This heartfelt proposal marked the beginning of their lifelong commitment to one another, a commitment grounded in love and shared dreams.

Their love story reached new heights in December 2004 when they exchanged vows in a breathtaking wedding ceremony in St. Barth. As they embarked on their honeymoon, aboard businessman Rick Hendrick’s yacht, the significance was not lost on them. Despite her public past as a model and her role as the wife of an accomplished athlete, Chandra leads a low-key life on social media, prioritizing her family and personal well-being.
