Ariana Sutton cause of death and obituary

Everly Irene and Rowan Stephen, twins born prematurely to Stephen and Ariana Sutton of Norton, Massachusetts, were welcomed into the world in May, but their early entrance “brought unforeseen challenges.” Less than two weeks after they arrived as the mother-of-three committed suicide at home due to an ‘immense’ burden on her mental health.

Now, her family is trying to share their experience in an effort to spread the word about postpartum depression

According to her family’s GoFundMe website, Ariana, a talented dancer and co-owner of a performing arts academy, had been “excitedly awaiting the arrival of her twins.”

The infants, however, arrived one month early and were admitted to Newton-Wellesley Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit, where they will remain until their due date.

Their early arrival “brought unforeseen challenges, placing an immense strain on [her] mental health,” according to Ariana’s relatives, who characterized her as a “vibrant and devoted mother.” “Despite her relentless efforts to seek help, the burden of postpartum depression became too great to bear,” they continued..

They added: ‘Despite her relentless efforts to seek help, the burden of postpartum depression became too much to bear.’

Stephen’s brother Jason said: ‘Ariana wanted these kids so badly. She lived to be a mother.’

The twins, along with the couple’s four-year-old daughter Melody Ki, now face ‘the heartbreaking reality of growing up without her mother.’

The family are now aiming to raise awareness of postpartum depression.

Ariana’s sister-in-law, Catherine Sutton, now wants to break down the stigma for other mothers who are struggling with their mental health.

She told Enterprise News: ‘It’s so important that you ask for help. If another family’s able to avoid what we’re going through right now, it’s worth it to share our story.’
