Adam Daniel Kinzinger was born in Kankakee, Illinois, on February 27, 1978, to Betty Jo, an elementary school teacher, and Rus Kinzinger, a CEO of faith-based organizations.

Kinzinger campaigned for county board member in McLean County in 1998 while still a student at Illinois State. Kinzinger defeated an incumbent and became one of McLean County’s youngest county board members at the age of 20. He served on the board until 2003 when he resigned.

Adam Kinzinger ex-fiancee: Who is Riki Meyers?

Kinzinger married fellow pilot Air Force Captain Riki Meyers in 2011; the duo called the engagement off in 2012 and the two never revealed why. According to reports, the two met in pilot school, became fast friends, and then started dating.

He proposed to her on a dock overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Charleston, South Carolina, and told the Chicago Tribune that she was the perfect fit for him.

Were Adam Kinzinger and Riki Meyers married?

We don’t know whether the formal partners married or not. There was no wedding date specified. Kinzinger did, however, give Meyers a ring when he proposed to her on December 17 in Charleston. And, yeah, he got down on one knee.

“It’s one of those stories where you marry your best friend,” he said.
